The city of Westmount.

Since it was a pretty sunny day on Tuesday, my sister and I went walking in Westmount Park. Westmount is a city in Montreal not too far away from downtown. It is mostly a wealthy residential area. My elementary school was located there so walking in Westmount Park again brought back many memories.

Oops this one's a little bit blurry; I was walking and trying to take a picture at the same time. (I'm the one with darker brown Oxford shoes!)

My friends and I used to go there even after the curfew, (we were like, 10 years old?) just thought it would be cool to do something illegal and not get caught.

Selwyn House School: a private independent boy's school (for Kindergarten to grade 11), seeing them going in and coming out of there reminded me of Gossip Girl, yep even little 7 years old boys have to wear ties! And after school, you'd see all the parents waiting out there in their Porsche and BMW's to pick them up.

Westmount Public Library: it's a very beautiful library, it's not very big, but usually it's not crowded.

During summer, it's a actually surrounded by water. And now they cut down the tree in the middle, the tree's probably too old and cracked. I used to climb up on the tree and read there all the time.

As you can see, it's already April but I'm guessing we're still far away from having a 30 degrees Celsius day. In fact, it's snowing today... :( awww I hope you have a better weather than me, wherever you live!

PS: Happy Easter! Enjoy your long weekend. As for me I'm working Friday, Saturday and Monday... how fun.

  1. We are so close to have 30 degrees. The weatherforecast says only 24 but I don´t believe. I would die to see some snowflakes falling down <3

Plus I liked these photos, I can´t help feeling the difference before the lifestyle here and at your place :)

  4. Yeah! I was so so incredibly happy when she pulled it out of a box--it was that floral grunge that's totally in again. We were going through some bags of clothes that she specifically saved for me. Which is amazing. It makes me really want to do that for my kids one day. Looks like a beautiful day for you :) I love taking photos of my feet. However odd that sounds.

  5. Ooooh this place looks really nice! I would be there to chill out every possible time!

The place where I took my pics is a very old cementary which is a place of interest now. There are no funerals anymore since nearly 100 years but you can find the graves of famous persons from older times in Munich there! Many names you can find in the name of Munichs streets too! ;o)

You poor girl, it's snowing again at your place... We had the hottest day in this year today with almost 27 degrees Celsius! It's awesome, but it's not normal in April! Hope the summer will be so great too! ;o)

  12. A wonderful post. I enjoyed this a lot. Haven't been to that area in a few years... although I have been just north to St. Hippolyte, Ste. Adele, Val David, etc.
